Responsibilities

  • Assemble and mount mechanical and electrical parts according to drawings and instructions
  • Perform welding operations to assemble metal components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to understand the specifications for each assembly
  • Apply safety standards in force on worksites
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize the assembly process and guarantee the quality of finished products
  • Meet production deadlines and contribute to achieving company objectives

Skills

  • Proficiency in welding (111 FW arc welding) and assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
  • Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanics
  • Compliance with safety standards and work procedures
  • Experience in preventive maintenance of equipment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an assembler/fitter
  • Professional training in mechanics, electricity, welding or similar fields
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Ability to solve problems and work in a dynamic environment
  • Speaking french is a plus
