Responsibilities

  • Prepare, tack and weld metal parts (steel) according to technical specifications
  • Set up welding equipment to ensure optimum results
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and welding instructions
  • Work on various types of projects, including locksmithing, boilermaking, piping, structural work…

Skills

  • Proficiency in 111 FW, 135 FW, 136 FW and/or 141 FW arc welding
  • Ability to weld in 4 positions (4G) and all posisions HLO-045
  • Cornice, fillet, butt, flat and ceiling welding experience
  • Ability to perform multi-pass, ascending and descending welds
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills
  • Compliance with safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a welder
  • Welding diploma or equivalent certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Ability to solve problems and work in a dynamic environment
  • Speaking french is a plus
